| Ok i'm sure everyone has thought of this at some point. Situation, your wondering around and OH WOW you find a cool looking lamp. So you pick it up and theres dirt on it. You rub the dirt off the lamp and POOF out comes a Genie! He tells you that you have three wishes for whatever you desire. Amazed you have to give it some thought, but you realise genies are tricksters by nature and you have to be careful what you wish for...
Genie's Rules: - You can not ask for more wishes or be given the power to make your own wishes come true. - He can not bring you into the past or future in time. - He can't make a person love another person.

| "Oy! Ten thousand years in a bottle can give ya such a crick in the neck!" -Robin Williams in Aladdin
So, I thought about it a bit, and decided what my first wish would be. With a slight smile, I would tell him, "For my first wish, I would like the wisdom of Solomon."
After that, I expect I would want no more wishes.

| You wish for the knowledge of Solomon, and it is granted. You are given superior knowledge and are able to solve many, many problems and are given immense adulation. Of course, eventually the same situation arises where two women come in and claim custody of a single child.
You, in all your wisdom, give the same answer. “Split the child in two and give one half to each woman”. You are promptly arrested for child endangerment. As you said, you would not be able to wish for more wishes. That is because the lamp is put into a cold case file, misplaced, and you never see it again. You get 8 years in prison, and when you leave, no one remembers who you were.

| Dangit! I hate it when that happens. Fortunately, with the immense wisdom, I would strategically clash with the corrupt prison system, and then unite my fellow inmates into a well-disciplined-yet-quirky fighting team, which gets enlisted to fight for noble causes, usually requested by cute, sobbing, females. We would make many run-on sentences, and references to 1980s TV shows. | |

| Genie, I'm in a generous mood today and let you decide which wish you grant me - _but_ at the same time, Genie must get double of what I get. | |

And then, while the smart one of the team is making a non-lethal time bomb out of a paper plate, gum wrappers, and bird doo... the robot, talking car, and top-secret helicopter all converge on the terrorist/drug dealer compound to free the young lady's father who turns out to be husband.

| Ok first wish. I wish the writing on the outside of the Genie's lamp was changed to read "DANGER TRICKSY GENIE INSIDE! Wish at your own risk." | |

| The genie nods, and it is so. Unfortunatetly the text in written so tiny you can't see it, and written in a language noone can understand. | |

| It's most likely Swiss German, written in cyrillic letters. No one but Swiss can understand that (and there are no real dictionaries for it), and as Swiss have to learn already four languages just to get through their country, they don't bother to learn cyrillic. | |

| I wish that within the next hour, I will leave this genie behind and find another one who will grant me as many wishes as I like with no restrictions, who fully understands my intentions as well as the wording of my wishes and who will always do his best to fulfill both without harming, first, me, and secondarily anyone else. | |

| You place this genie aside, and you quickly find another, with no rules or tricks up their sleeves. Unfortunately, you barely even get one wish before someone else steals it and wishes that you could never wish on it.
Now you're stuck with the genie that has rules, tricks, and a cool beard.

| First, I wish for none of my wishes to be turned around in a way which could cause me or anyone else unhappiness, misfortune, or inconvenience.
Second, I wish for the quick mind, smooth words, and likability of charisma.
From there I don't think I'd really want anything else.
